Pan De Sal

I’m still with family, not in my kitchen, so there are limits to what I can do. It may be a couple more weeks before I can get back to my kitchen. But…I just wanted to update that I finally made a couple of batches of Pan de Sal. I used this recipe.

Pan de Sal is the result of Spanish Colonialism in Asia and the Pacific in the 16th century. It is a soft, yeasted bread roll, often eaten at breakfast with eggs, cheese, and meat, or for a snack, in the PI. Similar to the mexican bolillo, or Puerto Rican Pan de Aqua.
