Hi Everyone! I’m not ditching the food blogging, but just taking a short break, while also trying to figure out what to make and bake next! I can’t promise that things will be much different, but it feels right to take a little break. I might even be posting as soon as this weekend, but I can’t say for sure.
Meanwhile, I wanted to share our recent addition to the household–Pogi! (The above picture is his Humane Society photo, which we first saw and instantly fell in love with, a couple of weeks ago.)
Pogi is the tagalog slang word for handsome. ‘Handsome’ is what the Seattle Humane Society was calling him. He’s a 4 year-old domestic short-haired mix. So far, we’ve been hanging out on the couch watching TV. I’m not kidding. That’s all I want to do nowadays. He makes being a couch potato so much more enjoyable!
I knew that I would have to post here, as I’ve been posting ad nauseam on Facebook, and I’m sure all my Facebook friends are getting ready to unfriend. I jest. Isn’t he cute though??
